We’re hosting a level drawing contest to find our next great creator. If you’ve been following Pixel Press recently you know we have a new drawing guide with additional features. We want to see what you can create with the new Sketch Guide! The winner will invite three friends for a V.I.P. afternoon at the Pixel Press office in St. Louis. How do I enter?
Download the updated Sketch Guide, which will be available February 1st. Draw your level! Then send and email to Katie Burke with all of the following included.
Attach a photo of your sketch sheet with all three levels completed. Make sure that there are no shadows on your sketch, it fills as much of the pictures frame as possible, and that the drawing is clear. Make the Subject line; “I just drew my own video game!” In the body of the email include your: Name, Age, City, Name of you level, and your Twitter & Instagram handles (optional)
What do you win?
Your design will be used as inspiration for one of the levels in our upcoming “Save the Parents” story mode within the Pixel Press Floors app. An invitation for you and three friends to join the Pixel Press team for pizza at our office in downtown St. Louis on Friday, March 14th at 4pm. An office tour and hang time with the Pixel Press team. A sneak peek of new features that Pixel Press is working on. A Pixel Press t-shirt and Sketch Pad for you and your friends.
The Rules
Submissions will be accepted between February 1st and February 28th. Submissions after 11:59pm CST on February 28th will NOT be accepted for judging. All three levels on the sketch sheet must be completed in order for the entry to be accepted for judging. There is NO limit on how many sketch sheets you can submit. Go crazy! The contest is open to everyone, however you must be able to provide your own transportation to the Pixel Press office in downtown St. Louis on Friday, March 14th at 4pm CST. If you cannot make it to the office or live outside of St. Louis your level will still be featured in “Save the Parents” and we will send you (1) T-Shirt and (1) sketch pad. All other prizes will be awarded to the first runner up who is able to attend the event. We will contact the winner personally and let him or her know if they’ve won by using the email address used to submit the entry. There will also be an announcement on projectpixelpress.com.
